ORLANDO, Fla.– A political committee is investing over $1 million to legislate leisure cannabis in Florida.

The Smart and Safe Florida committee just recently paid a signature-gathering company to get almost 900,000 signatures.
That suffices signatures to put a constitutional modification on the 2024 tally for citizens to choose.

The proposed modification would enable anybody 21 or older “to have, purchase, or utilize cannabis items and devices.”
