BAXTER COUNTY, Ark. (KAIT) – A guy is being hung on a $500,000 bond after deputies stated they discovered numerous pounds of methamphetamine and cannabis in his house.
Baxter County constable’s deputies detained 34-year-old Bobby Joe Gray on Thursday, Sept. 8, following a search of his house in the 5300-block of State Highway 126 near Midway.
Constable John Montgomery stated Gray, who is on parole for a previous drug conviction, at first declined to unlock to parole officers.
” He ultimately lacked the back entrance of the home, however was rapidly collared by officers,” the constable stated in a Friday press release.
Detectives then browsed Gray’s house.
Montgomery stated they discovered 10.7 pounds of methamphetamine, 17.6 pounds of cannabis, 1 gram of fentanyl, and roughly 100 THC-concentrated vape cartridges.
Montgomery stated the drugs had a street worth of about $586,000.
He included that officers likewise took $5,020 in money; a deal journal; scales; and a Glock Design 19 pistol.
Gray is being kept in the Baxter County Detention Center on the following charges:
- Trafficking an illegal drug
- Synchronised belongings of drugs and guns
- Belongings of an Arrange VI illegal drug with the function to provide

He’s set up to appear in circuit court on Sept. 19.
Montgomery stated officers with Arkansas Neighborhood Corrections and the 14th Judicial Drug Job Force helped in Gray’s arrest and search of his house.
